Currently Linn do not offer replacement drivers for Tukan. However, as Katans are more plentiful and its easy to transfer drivers from a tired pair of Katans into a cherised pair of Tukans, we offer support for this upgrade.

Linn Keilidh with Hiquphon OW-2 Tweeter

For some time, Hiquphon's rather fine OW2-92 tweeter has been favoured as an upgrade or replacement unit for those speakers for which the original tweeters are no longer available. Speaker such as Katan, Ninka and Keilidh have often been equipped with OW2-92.

Whilst these drivers are a good match in a passive system with its large phase errors and crossover approximations, in an Exakt system, a more precise match is required.

Therefore SpeakerFilters is very pleased to announce the latest in a range of Exakt filters designed specifically for the OW2-92 tweeter in classic speakers - the evergreen Keilidh floorstander.

Introducting the SpeakerFilters.com Rally Team

 

Introducing the www.speakerfilters.com supported rally team.

We first supported Tim Baker in his Talbot Sunbeam for the Mully Rally in October 2022.  Since then we've confirmed support for Tim and Neil for the 2023 season including their assault on the Heart of England Stage Rally Championship.  The pair are also competing in the www.asoc.co.uk Challenge sponsored by Ex-pressed Steel Panels and Neil is registered for the Broughton & Bretton Motor Club co-drivers' championship.

The car is a 1980 Talbot Sunbeam with the following spec:

Shell: Talbot Sunbeam 3-door hatchback with Series 2 lights and grille. Modifications include seam-welding, weld-in roll cage and alloy wheel arches

Engine: 2481cc Millington XE, Simpson custom exhaust
